One for the Money - Okay, I bought this for my sister for Christmas but decided I wanted one too so I decided to order her another one and unpack this one. Shipping was extremely quick...I ordered on a Saturday and received on Wednesday via UPS. Item received as promised in good condition. Again, this is easy to use even for technology-challenged people such as myself. Sound is certainly acceptable if a little weak on the bass end. Having said that, I could probably listen all day without a problem. No static, etc. Size is excellent, I separated the units rather than stacking them and it is small enough to be rather inconspicuous. However, it doesn t look bad either so if you d rather have it out in the open, that s okay too. The reason I only gave it a four star rating is I think the cords leading from the base to the speakers are a little short. Other than that, I think this is a really nice product, probably not for you audiophiles but for every day listening, this is great!
it does the job - I really was impressed by this ..if you are looking for something that is going to thump bass to rattle your walls, this is not for you. but if you want speakers just to hear your playlist at a volume were you won t go deaf, I recommend this. I like it!!
Icetune Speakers - This product was shipped to me very quickly and was packaged very well for shipping. The speaker system has very good sound quality for the price range. I like the option to either stack or spread the speakers out depending on the situation and the charger was a big selling point for me.
works as advertised - Updated firmware per instructions -- works with both my e280s, one with Rockbox, the other with updated Sansa firmware. Just needed something for my desk, and this works just fine without using up too much space.
This product was a JOKE! - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!! I had done what I thought was adequate homework on this product before purchase to ensure it was compatible with the Sansa MP3 as it is advertised. However, as soon as the MP3 player was connected it completely fried the player - to the point that all songs that had been previously downloaded, etc. were lost - as well as the MP3 player itself.
