A Steal for the price - I brought this on a whim for my macbook and i could not be happier. It went on quick and painless and looks great. I have had no problems with the full range of motion of the screen like others have mentioned. This also helps a lot with the scratching that the macbook does on your wrists if you type like i do. Overall a good product, and i am happy with the results. Only downfall is that it does not show the apple in the back, but i guess u cant have everything!
Worth the wait - I ordered this product exactly a month ago and was supposed to receive it on Friday last. Upon receiving my Shell, it was ridiculously easy to attach to my MacBook (too easy, had me wondering if I did something wrong). I have access to each and every port and slot, which is great. And I feel so comfortable now when others are around me, because I don t have any fear of it sliding off my desk if someone accidentally bounces it, because it now has a grip to the desk surface.Now there s no more heat on my lap, Excellent!It adds some inches and weight to it though, that s the downside. Now I have to force it into my 13 laptop bag. But that s okay because at least now it ll never slide out.Overall great product!
GREAT BUY!! - I bought this product last month and have been using it ever since. First of all I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I bought it in red and was not sure of its looks from the pictures that were provided. However, when it arrived (very promptly, I might add) and I snapped it on (which was very, very easy), I instantly fell in love with it! It is made of pliable leather, feels nice to the touch, really attractive on a white Macbook. It has vents in the back to let air out, 2 cut-outs on the sides for ports and one in the front. It fit perfectly on the 13 Macbook. It is in good shape so far, but it s only been a month of use. I will treat it like my baby of course. Looks like it might need cleaning from time to time, just as you would with any leather products. There are no cons to this product as of yet: as it is known, the Macbooks heat up pretty quickly and I have read in other reviews it was due to the Shell, which is not true. Your laptop will get hot anyway, the shell has a vent in the back to let air out but none in the underside. The material is pretty sturdy and I think it ll last for a good while. I most definitely recommend this product to those who need a strong protecting case for their macbooks. This shell eliminated the need for a bag or a sleeve, since I can just stick it in my backpack.
BEWARE!!! Security lock DOESN T fit - It has a critical problem. Typical security lock for a laptop doesn t fit into a hole because the protection shell doesn t provide enough space for a lock, instead you can only see the hole.So if you need a security lock, DO NOT buy this. If you don t mind, you may want to try.
